Creating a project's BOQ

Add items and quantities to estimate a project's total cost.

A BOQ (Bill of Quantities) lists every item a project needs along with the quantity required, giving you the project's total estimated cost.

  1. 1Open a project and go to its BOQ tab, or go to BOQ in the sidebar and select the project.
  2. 2Click + Add Item and choose an item from your Items of Work.
  3. 3Enter the quantity required. The rate is auto-filled from that item's Rate Analysis - you don't re-enter it.
  4. 4Repeat for every item the project needs. The BOQ total updates automatically.

If an item shows no rate, it means that item hasn't had a Rate Analysis done yet. Go build one first, then return to the BOQ.
