From the plan to a BOQ and estimate

Send quantities measured from the drawing into a BOQ priced with your own rate analysis.

  1. 1With a plan open, click BOQ & estimate.
  2. 2Check the assumptions (wall thickness, floor height, plinth, finishes) - change any to suit the job.
  3. 3Each line is measured from the drawing and matched to an item from your Items of Work. Change a match where needed.
  4. 4Select the lines you want and send them to the project's draft BOQ. Rates come from your rate analysis in the BOQ.
Tip: Once the structure, electrical and plumbing layouts are worked out, their quantities (concrete, steel, points, pipes and fittings) are used instead of thumb rules.
